Greenwood Insurance Agency (GIA) does not sell insurance directly to consumers and GIA is not an insurance company. In the event the GIA should collect premium payment from an insured, GIA uses a third party system like Stripe. When GIA collects premiums using Stripe the premium will be kept in a Premium Trust Account and prompty sent to the insurance carrier on behalf of the insured. Refunds can be requested from GIA, however, once the premium has been sent to the Insurance Carrier, no refunds will be able to be sent by GIA. Once premiums have been sent to the carrier, the insured and GIA will need to request a refund from the insurance carrier directly.
